Multi-frequency 3-component slingram EM system for rapid conductive structure mapping
The PROMIS is a multi-frequency, multi-spacing horizontal loop EM (slingram) system that measures all three components of the secondary magnetic field—a key advantage over traditional single-component HLEM systems—providing directional information on the strike of conductive structures. Operating across 10 frequencies from 110 Hz to 56 kHz with transmitter-receiver spacings from 20 m to 400 m, it covers a wide range of investigation depths. An automatic measurement sequence, inclinometer tilt correction, and LED-guided station-move prompts maximize field productivity without requiring constant communication between operators.
