High-power marine resistivity system for continuous aquatic profiling
The SYSCAL Pro Deep Marine is a purpose-adapted variant of the SYSCAL Pro for continuous underwater resistivity profiling in highly conductive environments such as seawater or brackish water. With a 5,000 W transmitter capable of injecting up to 50,000 mA, it simultaneously collects 10 resistivity data points across 10 depth levels every approximately two seconds via a 13-electrode graphite streamer. GPS integration provides accurate electrode positioning, and real-time 2D resistivity sections are displayed on a connected laptop.
