T-VLF Transmitter
Three-component VLF receiver for high-productivity groundwater and mining surveys
The T-VLF is a high-productivity very low frequency (VLF) electromagnetic receiver engineered for groundwater and mineral exploration, eliminating the need for operator orientation toward the transmitter station thanks to its three-axis magnetic sensor array. Dual inclinometers automatically correct for tilted sensor positioning, and the system operates in either classical tilt-angle mode for mapping conductive dyke structures or resistivity mode (using a short electric dipole) for identifying resistive features and structural geology. All 4,000 readings are stored on solid-state memory across an operating range of –40°C to +70°C.
