TIP-12000 Transmitter
12,000 W ultra-high-power IP transmitter for very deep mineral exploration
The TIP 12000 is the most powerful transmitter in the IRIS TIP series, delivering 12,000 W at up to 3,000 V for very large-depth IP and resistivity investigations in geologically complex and conductive terrains. Like its smaller siblings, it supports on-time IP acquisition at 100% duty cycle for twice-as-fast surveys and doubled IP signal amplitude, and intelligent current/voltage regulation handles even highly unstable contact resistances automatically. Two TIP 12000 units in Master-Slave mode combine for 24,000 W and 12,000 Vpp—the highest power configuration in the range.
