Fully automatic borehole lateral load tester without high-pressure gas
The Auto LLT2 is a water-based borehole pressuremeter that determines ground deformation moduli by measuring the relationship between sonde pressure and rubber-tube expansion at depth. Unlike conventional gas-pressure systems, it uses a double-acting water pump — keeping water intake and supply in constant balance — for stable, reproducible measurements and a tank weight of only 10 kg instead of the typical 40 kg. Pressure control and data logging at each load step are handled automatically from start to finish, minimising operator error and field setup time.
