Lightweight field tool for quick layer thickness, penetration, and shear testing
The OYO Soil Strength Probe is a portable, multi-function device that enables rapid assessment of soil properties directly in the field. Using a standard penetration cone and φ10 mm rods, it measures layer thickness and approximate bearing capacity via static penetration with a spring-type load meter; with the vane cone attachment, it also determines internal friction angle and cohesion through in-situ shear testing. Its compact form factor allows a single operator to complete tests quickly without heavy equipment.
