High-sensitivity cesium magnetometer for fixed-wing, helicopter, and land magnetic surveys
The G-823A is a versatile, high-sensitivity cesium magnetometer designed for large-scale aerial magnetic surveys from fixed-wing aircraft or helicopters, with the option for land-portable deployment. Beyond the magnetic field measurement itself, the internal CM-201 counter provides Julian date/time, accepts external sync pulses, and features six A/D converters for simultaneous recording of ancillary analog data such as radar/barometric altimeter or EM signals. The system is documented with critical heading error data on a per-unit basis and meets the highest vibration and temperature standards for airborne operation.
