MFAM Module
Miniaturized atomic magnetometer module — 10x smaller and more power-efficient than conventional sensors
The MFAM (Miniature Fluxgate-Alternative Magnetometer) Module represents a breakthrough in atomic magnetometer miniaturization, achieving a 10-fold reduction in both size and power consumption compared to conventional sensors — approximately 15 cc in volume and only 2 W per sensor — without sacrificing measurement performance. The dual-sensor module enables both absolute field and gradient measurements, supports dead-zone-free operation anywhere in the world, and can be integrated into existing instruments via a modular architecture. A development kit with Power over Ethernet (PoE), onboard GPS, and four differential analog input channels is available for system integrators.
