The MagArrow II is a second-generation, UAS-deployable magnetometer built around Geometrics' miniaturized MFAM dual-sensor module, housed in an aerodynamic, lightweight shell weighing only 1.2 kg. Fully self-contained with onboard GPS, data storage, and Wi-Fi, it requires no data connections to the host UAV and can be attached to most enterprise UAS platforms. Its 1000 Hz sample rate allows flights at speeds up to 10 m/s while collecting magnetic samples every 1 cm, and a 2-hour hot-swappable battery comfortably spans multiple UAV sorties.
